Comparison

Ravenpost vs Later

Both schedule one post out to many social accounts. This page compares what they cost at the same size and what each one does better — including the parts where Later wins.

Later's prices and features below were read from their own public pricing page on 2026-08-06. Prices move, so check ours against theirs: Later pricing

What you pay for the same number of accounts

Tiers aren't the same size on both products, so lining up “plan 1 vs plan 1” flatters whoever numbered theirs more generously. Instead: the cheapest plan on each product that covers the accounts you actually have.

Connected accountsRavenpostLaterYou save
5 accounts$14$25$11
15 accounts$24$50$26
50 accounts$49$125$76

Later sells “social sets” — one profile of each network it supports, eight profiles to a set. Starter is one set, Growth two, Scale six; extra sets are $15 a month. The 50-account row is Scale plus one extra set, because six sets stop at 48.

Monthly billing, US dollars. A dash means no plan on that product covers that many accounts.

Where Later is stronger

  • Snapchat and Pinterest publishing, neither of which we offer.
  • A social inbox and approval workflows from the Growth plan up.
  • Competitive benchmarking against up to 20 rivals, plus trend forecasting.
  • UGC collection, and a link-in-bio product with years of brand recognition behind it.
  • AI content tools built into every plan, where we have none.

Where Ravenpost is stronger

  • X, Telegram and Bluesky publishing. Later’s social set is Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Snapchat — X is not on it.
  • No post caps on paid plans. Later’s Starter allows 30 posts per profile a month, Growth 180.
  • A free plan that does not expire, against a 14-day trial.
  • $24 for 15 accounts against $50, with seats included rather than $5 each.
  • No AI credits to ration — Later meters them at 5, 50 or 100 a month.

Questions people ask

Is Ravenpost cheaper than Later?

For 15 connected accounts, yes: $24/mo against $50/mo on Later's cheapest plan that covers that many. At other sizes the gap changes — the table above prices three of them.

Is there a free plan?

Ravenpost has one that doesn't expire: one connected account and ten posts a month, no card. Later offers a 14-day trial instead.

How do I move from Later?

Reconnect your accounts through Ravenpost's OAuth flow — a few clicks each — and rebuild your posting schedule in Settings. There's no import tool: your existing scheduled posts stay where they are and publish from there, so run both until that queue drains.
