Let OpenClaw schedule your social posts
OpenClaw already answers you in the chats you use and runs jobs on a schedule. What it cannot do on its own is put a post on Instagram. Connect Ravenpost's MCP server and it can: two commands and one sign-in, and the next message ends with the post previewed and scheduled on Instagram, TikTok, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube and Pinterest.
OpenClaw connects it itself, and a publish still waits for you
OpenClaw is an MCP client with OAuth built in, so there is nothing to install and no API key: it signs in to Ravenpost like any app and keeps its own credential, which you can end from your account page. It gets the same tools Claude does. What it does not get is the last word. OpenClaw draws no post card with a Publish button, so a post meant to go out now is saved and waits until you confirm it in Ravenpost, from a link the agent hands you.
Connect it in two commands
Connect your social accounts
Sign in to Ravenpost and connect the accounts you want to post to — in a browser, not from inside OpenClaw. The free plan covers one account and ten posts a month, with no card.
Add the server
Save the server with OAuth as its sign-in. Nothing is downloaded: the server is hosted, and OpenClaw reaches it over Streamable HTTP.
Save the serveropenclaw mcp add ravenpost \ --url https://api.ravenpo.st/mcp \ --transport streamable-http \ --auth oauth \ --oauth-scope mcpSign in
The login command prints a link to Ravenpost's sign-in and waits. Open it, sign in — or create the account in the same flow — and approve. The approval page names the app and notes that it runs on your own machine: that is OpenClaw, and it is expected. The browser hands back to OpenClaw by itself, the command ends with "MCP OAuth credentials saved", and the status check then reads authorized.
Sign in, then checkopenclaw mcp login ravenpost openclaw mcp status --verboseAdd the skill (optional)
The Ravenpost skill on ClawHub teaches the agent the workflow around the tools: settle the workspace first, preview before writing, ask before anything is scheduled, and what to do when a publish waits for you.
Get it on ClawHubFrom ClawHubopenclaw skills install @muratkaragozgil/ravenpostMessage it
In the terminal or any chat you reach OpenClaw through, say what to post and where. It lists your accounts, previews the post as each network will render it, and schedules it once you say yes.
What to ask OpenClaw
Written the way somebody would actually type them, with what each one ends up doing.
“What social accounts do I have on Ravenpost, and what can each one take?”
Reads your accounts and each network’s limits — caption budget, how many images or videos, whether threads exist. A good first message: it proves the sign-in worked and tells the agent what it is working with.
“Write a post about this week’s release — short for X, longer for LinkedIn — and preview both before you do anything.”
Two posts, since each network gets its own caption over MCP. The preview renders each as its network will and writes nothing, so what you approve is the post itself, warnings included.
“Schedule both for Tuesday at 9am my time.”
Creates the two posts with the time and its offset. A schedule more than 15 minutes ahead goes straight onto the calendar, where you can still read it, move it or cancel it.
“Publish the X one right now.”
The post is saved and waits. The result says NOT PUBLISHED YET and carries a link to the post in Ravenpost, where you press Publish; the agent sends you the link and does not try again.
“Every Monday at 9am, draft three posts from my newest blog articles.”
An OpenClaw automation, with nobody in the conversation. Drafts reach nobody: they wait in Ravenpost until you open, edit or schedule them, and a job that tries to publish is held for your confirmation anyway.
“How did last week’s posts do?”
Reads followers per account and the engagement recorded against recent posts. A number a network does not report comes back as unknown, never as zero.
What it still cannot do
The things you would otherwise find out on day two.
- Posting now waits for you, every time. A post meant to go out now, or within 15 minutes, is saved and held until you confirm it in Ravenpost; OpenClaw draws no post card with a Publish button, so the agent hands you a link instead.
- A schedule further ahead is not held — it goes out at its time with nobody watching. For an automation that runs while you are away, have it draft, or schedule only what you approved when you set the job up.
- It does not draw the picture. It schedules and reformats what you give it — a URL, a file, or something in your media library — and can make a short template video from your own pictures or screenshot your site.
- It cannot read or reply to comments, mentions or DMs, and deleting a published post removes Ravenpost’s copy only — on Instagram, Threads, TikTok and YouTube Ravenpost cannot take a post down at all.

OpenClaw questions
Can OpenClaw post to Instagram and TikTok?
Yes, through Ravenpost's MCP server. Ravenpost holds the connection to each network and exposes it to OpenClaw as tools, so the agent asks and we publish — through each platform's official publishing API, never by driving a browser.
Do I need an API key?
No. OpenClaw runs the OAuth sign-in itself and keeps its own credential, and you can end it at any time under Connected AI apps on your Ravenpost account page.
What if OpenClaw runs on a server with no browser?
Use a personal access token instead of the sign-in. Mint one on the MCP page of the Ravenpost dashboard, where it can also be revoked, and give it to OpenClaw as a header: `openclaw mcp add ravenpost --url https://api.ravenpo.st/mcp --transport streamable-http --header "Authorization=Bearer rvp_your_token_here"`. Keep it out of anything you share — it is the credential.
Do I need the ClawHub skill?
No — the server works on its own, since every tool describes itself. The skill adds the judgement around the tools: settle the workspace first, preview before writing, and what a publish that waits for you means. Install it with `openclaw skills install @muratkaragozgil/ravenpost`.
Will it publish something without asking me?
Not straight away. Anything meant to go out now, or within 15 minutes, waits for you to confirm it in Ravenpost. A schedule further ahead does go out by itself at its time, so the skill has the agent ask before it schedules anything.
Does it cost anything?
Nothing to start. The MCP server is on every plan, the free one included — one connected account and ten posts a month, no card.
Which networks can it post to?
Instagram, TikTok, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube and Pinterest — 9 in all, each with its own caption limit, format rules and preview.
