Data Deletion
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This page explains how to delete the data Ravenpost holds about you or your connected social accounts (Instagram, TikTok, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube and Pinterest).
What we store
For each connected account we keep the platform’s account id, username, profile picture and an encrypted access token, plus the content you create (captions, uploaded media, scheduling details) and basic analytics we fetch for your own accounts. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
How to delete your data
- Disconnect an account — in Ravenpost, go to Accounts and remove the connection. We immediately delete that account’s stored token, profile info, its scheduled posts’ targets and collected analytics.
- Delete a workspace — an owner can delete a workspace from its Settings page, as long as it is not their only one and its paid plan, if any, has been cancelled. Its posts, connected accounts and their tokens, media and analytics are deleted with it, and so are its email contacts, lists, segments, campaigns and sending domains.
- Delete email contacts — in Email → Contacts, delete a contact and its address, name, lists and engagement go at once. Deleting a list keeps the people on it (they may be on other lists); delete them from Contacts. The record of each message sent to an address expires on its own after 90 days.
- Delete your account in the app — in the Ravenpost app for iPhone or Android, open Settings and choose Delete account. Your login is removed at once; workspaces you own go with it, along with their connected accounts, media and posts, unless you hand ownership to someone first.
- Delete everything — email us at support@ravenpo.st from your account email and we will erase your account, workspaces, connected accounts, media and posts within 30 days.
- Revoke a YouTube channel — remove Ravenpost from Google’s security settings page. That stops us publishing to the channel; disconnect it in Ravenpost (or email us) to delete the channel id, name, picture and encrypted token we stored, along with the ids and links of the videos we published for you.
- Revoke from the platform — for Instagram and Threads, removing Ravenpost in your Meta app settings triggers an automatic deauthorize: we delete that connected account and its data without you doing anything else. You can also submit a data-deletion request from those settings, which we process automatically and confirm on this page. On the other platforms, revoking our access stops us publishing but sends us no notification — disconnect the account in Ravenpost (or email us) to remove what we stored.
If you received an email sent with Ravenpost
Newsletters and announcements our customers send with Ravenpost are theirs: they decide who is on their list, and we hold the list on their behalf (see our Data Processing Addendum). To stop getting them, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of their emails — it takes effect at once, and that sender cannot add you back; only you can, by subscribing again. To have your address deleted, ask the sender: their name (and their postal address, when they give one) is in every email’s footer, and replying to the email reaches them. If you cannot reach them, or think you were added without your consent, write to support@ravenpo.st with the address and a copy of the email, and we will take it off that sender’s list and look into how it got there (see our Acceptable Use Policy).
Automated deletion endpoints
For Instagram and Threads we honor Meta’s deauthorize and data-deletion callbacks: when Meta notifies us that a user removed the app or requested deletion, we remove that connected account and all of its dependent records — tokens, scheduled targets and collected analytics — then return a confirmation code you can see above. The callbacks are:

Each is verified against that product’s own signed request, so only Meta can trigger one.
