Comparison

Ravenpost vs Hootsuite

Both schedule one post out to many social accounts. This page compares what they cost at the same size and what each one does better — including the parts where Hootsuite wins.

Hootsuite's prices and features below were read from their own public pricing page on 2026-08-06. Prices move, so check ours against theirs: Hootsuite pricing

What you pay for the same number of accounts

Tiers aren't the same size on both products, so lining up “plan 1 vs plan 1” flatters whoever numbered theirs more generously. Instead: the cheapest plan on each product that covers the accounts you actually have.

Connected accountsRavenpostHootsuiteYou save
5 accounts$14$99$85
15 accounts$24$199$175
50 accounts$49$199$150

Hootsuite quotes per seat on annual billing, so $99 is one user paying a year up front — a three-person team on Standard is $297 a month. It does not publish a monthly-billing price, so the column understates what month-to-month actually costs.

Monthly billing, US dollars. A dash means no plan on that product covers that many accounts.

A dash means Hootsuite's pricing page doesn't mention that feature — it isn't a claim that they lack it. An amber check means partial support.

Where Hootsuite is stronger

  • A unified inbox, social listening and employee advocacy — three product areas we do not have at all.
  • Unlimited social accounts from the Professional plan up, which we do not offer at any price.
  • Approvals, message routing and team performance reporting built for large teams.
  • Single sign-on and compliance tooling on Enterprise, plus twenty years of brand recognition.
  • An AI assistant with MCP connectors on every plan.

Where Ravenpost is stronger

  • Fifteen accounts is $24 here against $199 a seat on Hootsuite.
  • Seats are not a multiplier: our Agency plan is $49 with unlimited seats, where Hootsuite bills every user separately.
  • A free plan that does not expire, against a 14-day trial that caps daily posting.
  • Telegram, Bluesky and Threads publishing, with a rendered preview per destination.
  • A monthly price published as a monthly price, not an annual figure divided by twelve.

Questions people ask

Is Ravenpost cheaper than Hootsuite?

For 15 connected accounts, yes: $24/mo against $199/mo on Hootsuite's cheapest plan that covers that many. At other sizes the gap changes — the table above prices three of them.

Is there a free plan?

Ravenpost has one that doesn't expire: one connected account and ten posts a month, no card. Hootsuite offers a 14-day trial with daily posting limits instead.

How do I move from Hootsuite?

Reconnect your accounts through Ravenpost's OAuth flow — a few clicks each — and rebuild your posting schedule in Settings. There's no import tool: your existing scheduled posts stay where they are and publish from there, so run both until that queue drains.
