Claude can already write the caption. What it cannot do on its own is put it anywhere — so connect Ravenpost as a custom connector and the same conversation ends with the post scheduled, previewed exactly as each network will render it, on Instagram, TikTok, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube and Pinterest.
What changes once it is connected
Nothing about how you talk to Claude. It gains a set of tools — list the accounts, upload the media, draft, schedule, publish, read the analytics back — and decides when to use them. You still see the post before it goes out, because Ravenpost's preview tool renders it as each network will, warnings included, without writing anything.

Add the connector in Claude
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the Ravenpost MCP URL. There is nothing else to fill in.

Claude opens Ravenpost, you sign in, and it comes back holding its own credential. No API key to generate, copy or paste — and disconnecting the connector ends its access immediately.
Ask for a post
Say what you want published and where. Claude lists your accounts, uploads any media, then drafts or schedules the post — and can show you the rendered result before anything is live.
What to ask Claude
Written the way somebody would actually type them, with what each one ends up doing.
“What social accounts do I have connected, and what can each one take?”
Reads your accounts and the per-network limits — caption budgets, how many images or videos, whether threads exist. A good first message: it proves the connection and tells Claude what it is working with.
“Draft a post about our new pricing page for X, LinkedIn and Threads. Give each one its own caption and show me how they will look.”
Writes three captions inside three different character budgets, then renders each destination the way that network will publish it — before anything is created.
“Schedule that for Tuesday at 9am, and put the reel on Instagram too.”
Creates one post fanned out to every account you named, each with its own status and permalink once it publishes.
“What hour of the week do my posts actually do best in?”
Scores your own published posts by the engagement recorded against them — and says "not enough data yet" rather than inventing a recommendation from a thin history.
“Which of last month’s posts failed, and why?”
Reads back each destination’s own error text, so a rejected PNG or an expired token is a thing you can fix rather than a red dot.
What it still cannot do
The things you would otherwise find out on day two.
- Claude cannot generate the image or the video. It schedules and reformats what you give it — a URL, a file, or something already in your media library.
- It cannot read or reply to comments, mentions or DMs. Ravenpost publishes; it is not an inbox.
- A post published to Instagram, Threads, TikTok or YouTube cannot be deleted through their APIs, so asking Claude to take one down removes our copy only. It will tell you that rather than pretending.
- With more than one workspace, it will ask which before publishing rather than guessing — which is deliberate, and the thing that stops one client’s post landing on another’s accounts.

Can Claude really post to Instagram and TikTok?
Yes — through a connector, not by itself. Ravenpost holds the connection to each network and exposes it to Claude as tools, so Claude asks and we publish. Everything goes out through each platform's official publishing API.
Do I need to pay for this?
No. The MCP server is on every plan including the free one, which covers one connected account and ten posts a month with no card. Paid plans exist for more accounts, not to unlock the connector.
Do I need an API key?
No. The connector signs you in with OAuth — you click Connect and log in the way you would to any site. A personal access token is available for clients that cannot run a browser sign-in, but Claude is not one of them.
Will it publish something without asking me?
Claude asks before it runs a tool that writes, and the client shows you which tool and what it does — our tools declare whether each one is read-only or destructive, so the permission dialog says "publishes to a live account" rather than showing a bare function name. If you would rather it never publish directly, tell it to draft and schedule only.
Which Claude apps does this work in?
Any Claude surface that supports custom connectors — the web app, the desktop apps and mobile. Claude Code connects from the terminal with a single command; that has a page of its own.
