Subscribers see a normal channel post. ### Markdown that actually renders Bold, italic, links, inline code and strikethrough are converted to Telegram’s own formatting. Everything else is escaped, so a plain caption publishes exactly as typed and underscores in URLs stay literal. ### The longest caption budget here 4,096 characters — second only to Facebook.
